BLACKPINK’s Jennie And aespa’s Winter Wore The Same Nude Dress But Served Totally Different Vibes

As style icons and trendsetters, K-Pop idols often wear the same brands — sometimes even the same outfits. Such is the case for BLACKPINK‘s Jennie and aespa‘s Winter, who put completely different spins on the same dress.

Jennie wore this jewelled gown from Yanina Couture‘s Spring/Summer 2024 collection as part of the concept for Ruby. Ruby is Jennie’s debut solo studio album, released on March 7, 2025.

Jennie stayed true to the original look of the dress, seen here on a model, while also spicing up the look with her hair and makeup.

Her nails, black hair, accessories, and gemstone makeup matched the dress perfectly, and the bodice’s nude fabric complemented Jennie’s skintone.

Winter wore an altered version of the dress when aespa performed “Whiplash” at the 2024 Melon Music Awards. Whereas Jennie’s styling focused mainly on the dark part of the dress, Winter’s called more attention to the lighter nude fabric that matched her blonde hair.

Winter’s dress was heavily altered to become a stage outfit. The lower half was replaced with a short beaded skirt, and the sleeves were also shortened.

Overall, Winter looked like a luxurious princess, who is as badass as she is beautiful.
