BLACKPINK members Jennie and Lisa have proven that their individual influence as artists is as powerful as when they are together as a group.

Lisa and Jennie released their solo albums, Alter Ego and Ruby, respectively, within a week of one another. While this could have created competition and clashes, the two carried out their solo promotions so efficiently that it was hardly an issue.
Making things even more exciting for fans, both of them performed at this year’s Coachella, creating a huge buzz with their extravagant performances.

With Coachella finally wrapped up, the numbers are in, and it looks like both the BLACKPINK members effectively dominated the music festival with neck-to-neck EMVs.
EMV, an abbreviation for Earned Media Value, is a metric used in marketing to measure the monetary value of the unpaid, organic media coverage a brand receives. To put it simply, the EMV of an individual influencer would imply how much visibility they brought for the brand they represent through their activities, both online and offline.
According to Lefty, a reputed influencer database, Jennie was the top EMV generator at Coachella. During her performance, she was sporting shield sunglasses from Acne Studios Mugler and she earned them visibility worth USD 13 million dollars!

Lisa was the second highest EMV generator, earning coverage worth USD 9.5 million dollars for Asher Levine GCDS. She did it simply by wearing two custom looks by the brand during her performance.

Lefty’s EMV chart also revealed that the third highest impactful artist at Coachella was ENHYPEN, garnering USD 9.3 million dollar’s worth of coverage for Prada.
