BLACKPINK's new digital single "Jump" shot straight to No.1 on Spotify's Global Weekly Top Songs chart on Thursday, logging 44,759,923 streams in its first seven days and giving the four-member girl group a second career chart-topper, which is more than any other K-pop act.
The achievement comes less than two weeks after the track's July 11 release and cements the group's reputation as a dominant streaming force in the industry.
YG Entertainment said that "Jump" also reigned over Spotify's Global Daily Top Songs list for six consecutive days and previously clinched No.1 on the service's Daily chart within 24 hours of arrival. This makes the digital single the biggest streaming debut of 2025 so far, outpacing releases from both Western and Asian pop heavyweights.
Momentum for the single has rippled across other platforms. The Dave Meyers-directed music video became YouTube's most-viewed clip worldwide in its first 24 hours and stayed on top of the site's Global Daily Top Music Videos chart for a full week. On Apple's iTunes store, "Jump" has been the number one in 47 countries, underscoring BLACKPINK's broad international appeal.
Chart success is not limited to streaming, as in Britain, the track opened at No.18 on the UK Official Singles Chart, marking the group's highest-ever placement in the region. Domestically, "Jump" debuted at No.1 on every major real-time chart, including Melon Top 100 and Genie Top 200, within hours of release.
Musically, "Jump" signals a stylistic shift for BLACKPINK. Built around a guitar riff reminiscent of classic Western films and laced with hard-style electronics, the song was co-written by longtime collaborator Teddy alongside Diplo, 24, and Jumpa, and samples DJ Da Hool's 1997 dance anthem "Meet Her at the Loveparade." YG teased the track during the opening concerts of the Deadline World Tour in Goyang, where Jennie told fans the studio version would arrive "very soon."
"Fans will witness the perfect synergy of the four members reunited after almost three years," YG said in a statement announcing the release. The label's forecast appears accurate: the World Tour, which spans 16 cities and 31 shows, has already sold out its first U.S. stadium dates in Los Angeles and Chicago.
As "Jump" climbs the charts and the tour rolls on, BLACKPINK's latest milestone signals that the group's global momentum shows no sign of slowing down.
