The official teaser and release announcement for the new single came on November 3 at midnight KST, marking the official countdown for the boy band's highly anticipated return after six months since their first full-length album.
The two-minute and 40-second cinematic trailer features the six members captured in a grand mansion located in London, UK, with expressions that hint at their personal struggles. The visual presentation showcases a monochrome aesthetic, with each member appearing contemplative amid the lavish setting. The production beautifully conveys a paradoxical tension between calmness and inner turmoil, delivering what has been described as the group's signature "Visual RISE."
Fame marks RIIZE's second physical single release following their debut single Get A Guitar in September 2023, and their first new album in approximately six months since their first full-length album, Odyssey, released in May 2025. The new single consists of three tracks that delve into the emotional complexities behind their journey in the spotlight.
The title song and accompanying tracks capture the anxiety and emptiness members occasionally experience amidst the intensity of their careers, paired with the passion that follows. This musical direction maintains the group's original genre classification as "emotional pop."
RIIZE achieved significant commercial success with their debut album, Odyssey, which secured triple million-seller status and topped the Circle Monthly Retail Album Chart.
