A viral post with brutal criticism about BTS Jungkook‘s vocals has been hit with backlash, with the idol being defended.
BTS’s Jungkook | @jungkook.97/InstagramRecently, Jungkook did a live broadcast and during his time with ARMYs, he sang some songs, including the hit song “Golden” from the show KPop Demon Hunters.
As expected, Jungkook was truly unserious and imitated the character Rumi, who loses her voice while singing.

Yet, while netizens found it hilarious, a viral post on Nate Pann used it to criticize the idol.
Jungkook called ‘Golden.’ He sang so seriously bad that both Korean and international fans are in chaos, but only his fans are pretending not to see and shielding him. Total live disaster from ‘Golden’ LOL Is he really the main vocalist..? The video is too funny, howww.

Yet, fans quickly came to the idol’s defence. Many shared Jungkook’s achievements and hit back that, after a lot of things that happened, the idol just wanted to have fun with fans, and his cover wasn’t planned or serious.
