Key’s futuristic vision unfolds through bold visuals, magnetic beats, and unmatched charisma.

On 18 October 2025, SHINee’s Key transported Singapore into his eccentric realm of “Keyland: Uncanny Valley” at Capitol Theatre. The moment the lights dimmed, the atmosphere crackled with anticipation – and as the first synths of “Strange” echoed through the venue, the crowd erupted with excitement. Key immediately drew the audience into his eerie, futuristic world. The stage bathed in deep crimson with the stage lights shining spotlight onto him as he set the perfect tone for the night. Transitioning seamlessly into “Helium”, the atmosphere shifted from mystique to high-octane energy with the pulsing rhythm of the song that amplified his charisma as he commanded the stage with effortless cool. By the time “CoolAs” kicked in, the crowd was fully immersed – — Key exuding playful confidence, blending fashion-forward swagger with a crisp vocal delivery that electrified the theatre.

Instantly recognisable from its sleek synths and hypnotic rhythm, he performed the song “Want Another” where the song showcased Key’s confidence of the stage. Every move feeling intentional, each glance meeting the audience with quiet intensity. The transition into “Killer” as Key delivered every lyric with fierce precision, his voice cutting cleanly through the electrified crowd. Finally, with “Guilty Pleasure,” he invited the audience deeper into his world — a perfect fusion of vulnerability and elegance. The performance oozed sophistication, balancing smooth choreography with emotional depth, leaving fans breathless in the tension between temptation and restraint.  The intensity surged once more as Key launched into “Hunter”. With its upbeat pace, the track transformed the stage into a battleground of charisma and control. Key embodied a commanding presence – every movement sharp, every gaze deliberate – as if inviting the audience to chase the thrill of the unknown with him.

After finishing “Hunter”, Key took a moment to connect warmly with his Singapore fans. Catching his breath, he shared how familiar yet special it felt to be back – reminiscing about all the times he had performed in Singapore with the SHINee members. When he tried to explain the meaning behind Uncanny Valley, he laughed, admitting that even in Korean it was difficult to describe, and that he was doing his best with his “limited English.” Thanking his talented live band one by one, Key expressed genuine appreciation before joking about how impressed he was that fans could stand for so long — confessing that even he struggled after an hour in his past experience at a standing concert.

He then continued with the song “Heartless” with the haunting melody and aching vocals that painted a picture of conflict and desire, leaving the crowd hanging on his every word.

Then in a complete tonal shift, “Good & Great” brought warmth and self-assured joy back to the stage. With bright visuals and a playful groove, Key radiated positivity as his fans vibe along with the song.  As cheers settled from the vibrant “Good & Great”, the tempo picked right back up with the song “Infatuation”. The stage burst into motion – flashing neon lights, pulsing bass, and Key exuding playful confidence with every move. His effortless vocals and magnetic presence made the performance feel like a joyful chase between him and his fans. Keeping that momentum alive, “Pleasure Shop” turned the stage into a spectacle of color and attitude.

After the “Glam” VCR, Key had a quick change in outfit and proceeded on with the song “Picture Frame”. With the crowd enveloped in the rich tone of the music, Key’s voice was tender and vulnerable, yet strong. The song’s poignant melody intertwined with reflective visuals as he transitioned into the next song “Another Life”. And then, with a thrilling shift in energy, “Bad Love” catapulted the show into its fiery chapter bringing a rebellious and untamed energy that left no doubt.

The intensity hit its peak as “Gasoline” ignited the stage. WIth an explosive mix of edgy rock elements and thumping electronic beats, Key unleashed a raw energy that was both fierce and captivating. His commanding presence and sharp choreography matched the song’s defiant lyrics, creating an electrifying atmosphere that had the audience completely immersed in the adrenaline-fueled performance.

Key then took some time to address his fans again as he playfully addressed the crowd’s excitement over his outfit, adding a humorous comment assuring everyone that the color of his shirt didn’t carry any deep meaning – just his bold style shining through. He then grew a little more reflective, expressing disbelief that this was his very first Asia tour and sharing his wish for it to become a regular tradition each year.

The transition into “Novacaine” brought a darker, more hypnotic vibe — the heavy bass reverberating through the venue, while Key’s smooth yet powerful vocals lured the crowd into a trance. The eerie yet addictive rhythm kept the tension high, every note dripping with intensity. Finally, “Trap” was a show-stopper, a perfect storm of intensity and passion. The driving beats and relentless pace turned the stage into a full-on spectacle, with Key moving like a force of nature. The crowd was swept up in the frenzy, captivated by his magnetic performance as he performed the song “Imagine”.

Before moving on to the last song of the night, he told the crowd how much Singapore meant to him, recalling the many unforgettable memories he had made here with SHINee and hoping to create even more in the future. As the night drew to a close, Key introduced his final song, “Lavender Love.” The mood shifted into something softer and more sentimental — a gentle contrast to the powerful energy that had filled the concert earlier. As the last chords faded, Key thanked everyone once more, promising to return to Singapore soon. With a final wave and his radiant smile, he left the stage — the audience still humming with the lingering sweetness of Lavender Love and the memory of an unforgettable night.
