[Event Coverage] Chen Zheyuan Brings the Vibes at iQiyi Starship 2025 Malaysia

iQiyi successfully launched its iQiyi Starship 2025 Malaysia event, featuring its newly appointed International Global Ambassador, Chen Zheyuan, who captivated fans and media alike with his charm and enthusiasm.

Federal Arcade Press Conference

The day began at A Quiet Place, Federal Arcade with media registration at 3.30pm. Chen Zheyuan attended the press conference, engaging in interviews with local media before a lively lucky draw session concluded the afternoon program.

Pavilion KL Centre Court Event

At 7pm, the excitement continued at Centre Court Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.  The evening opened with performances by Layla Sania singer from Malaysia and Fu Yaning singer from China, followed by Chen Zheyuan’s grand entrance, where he greeted fans warmly with “Aku Cinta Padamu.”
Special guest Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Datin Paduka Setia Zatashah hosted a Q&A session and presented a gift to Chen Zheyuan, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. Fans were also treated to a video montage showing supporters waiting at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for Chen’s arrival, where he stopped to greet and take photos with them.

Chen Zheyuan joined Layla Sania and Ashh Ahmad in the “Batu Seremban” challenge, delighting fans further when he was asked to perform a few cute poses—responding with shy laughter and playful expressions. He then read selected heartfelt letters from fans, creating an emotional highlight of the evening.

Cultural Highlights

Chen Zheyuan embraced Malaysian culture by sampling local delicacies including nasi lemak, roti canai, char kuey teow, and teh tarik, guided by influencer Alex and Koe Yeet. He expressed his enjoyment of the dishes and learned to say Malay phrases such as “Jom Mamak” and “Sedap!”, which drew enthusiastic cheers from the audience.  Following the food tasting, Chen was invited to act out a selected scene from his popular drama Fated Hearts, showcasing his talent live on stage.

The event concluded with a photo session for lucky iQiyi winners, leaving lasting memories for fans. iQiyi extends its gratitude for the overwhelming support and proudly acknowledges Chen Zheyuan’s role as International Global Ambassador, marking a successful debut of iQiyi Starship in Malaysia.
