Get to know the four members behind the charm, the laughter, and the growing confidence of CrazAngel.
CrazAngel is a group that feels grounded in both personality and presence. Made up of Solmi, Daze, Shannie, and Ahon, they debuted in July 2025 with “I’m Just Me,” a dance pop track that introduced a clear sense of self and confidence. Their name captures a simple but effective contrast, bringing together intensity on stage and a more relaxed, genuine side in everyday moments. Even early on, the group shows a strong awareness of how they want to present themselves, balancing performance with personality in a way that feels natural.
Their first digital EP, Picasso, marks a natural next step. The release expands on the tone set at debut, giving the group more room to show range in performance and emotion. With a stronger focus on delivery and expression, the EP allows each member to stand out while still working cohesively as a team. It also reflects a growing comfort on stage, as they continue to refine how they connect with listeners through their music.
In this exclusive interview with Hellokpop, CrazAngel talks about preparing for Picasso, the experiences that stood out during the process, and what they hope listeners take from the EP. They also share more about their day-to-day personalities and leave a message for their fans, W!NGZ.
HELLOKPOP: Hi CrazAngel! It’s so nice to meet you—can each member introduce yourselves and share one word or phrase that describes your vibe lately?
DAZE: Hello, I’m the leader of CrazAngel, DAZE! I think my mood these days is “excited.” Every moment we’ve spent preparing for this album has been exciting, and we’re excited again to finally be able to show our music. I feel even happier and more excited when I think about W!NGZ, whom I miss.
SOLMI: Thank you for inviting us! I’m SOLMI, who has a dreamy charm.
SHANNIE: This is Shannie of CrazAngel. So happy to be here. I’ve been feeling extra refreshed lately since the weather has started to warm up and I cut my hair a while ago. This is my shortest haircut in almost 10 years, and I’m feeling cool in it.
AHON: Hello, I’m the youngest member of CrazAngel, AHON! The word that expresses my mood these days is sunshine!

DAZE
HKP: How would you describe each other in three words?
DAZE: “Family, nutritional supplements, happiness.” For me, the members are essential. They make me feel happy, passionate, and help me feel more precious to myself all the time. So I’m really grateful to our CrazAngel. Also, I keep feeling this these days, but I feel like I’m looking at them with the heart of a fan. It’s so lovely. I don’t think the members will be much different. We depend on each other a lot.
SOLMI: I tried to describe each member in one word. DAZE – Lovely, SHANNIE – Colorful, AHON – Innocence.
HKP: For readers just getting to know you, how would you describe CrazAngel’s charm and energy as a group?
SHANNIE: I always see our group like a puzzle coming together. Each of us has a different charm, and we are all unique in our own way, but when the 4 of us gather, it’s always nonstop laughter and fun energy.
AHON: We, CrazAngel, have different and charming tones. The members look calm, but they all know how to have fun! If you become our fans, you can’t stop laughing!
HKP: Congratulations on your first digital EP, Picasso! When you first heard the concept and songs, what were your initial reactions?
SOLMI: Actually, when I first heard of Picasso, I was really worried if I could pull it off. But on my way home from work and until the next day, the song stuck in my ears, and I felt like it was catching me. I was sure that it should be our song. ‘Land of Dreams’ is a song that I’ve always hoped for since the first time I heard it until now!
AHON: It was very new because it felt like an unimaginable concept and song, and it felt different from our debut song, so I was excited to show you more diverse sides!
HKP: What was it like preparing for this EP compared to your debut, “I’m Just Me”?
SHANNIE: The songs in the EP give out a very different vibe with ‘I’m Just Me’. Back then, we mostly focused on a confident, chic side of ourselves, while this one gives out more of an energetic, playful energy. Bringing out this side of me took me some time and effort to think about how I want to convey myself to the public
DAZE: What was amazing was that I was able to overcome the personal regrets I felt while preparing for “I’m Just Me” while preparing for this album. As my perspective on myself matured, I felt we really grew as we began to ask questions and find answers.

SOLMI
HKP: What does this project represent for you as a group?
SHANNIE: I think the songs in our album represent CrazAngel’s identity as a rookie. As written in the rap lyrics of ‘Land of Dreams’, ‘better late than never, we’re gonna strive on. I feel like this is how we feel as rookies in the industry. The two songs also convey messages of hope for the future and our love for music and creation.
HKP: What emotions or stories did you most want listeners to take away from this EP?
AHON: If you’ve ever had the experience of falling in love with something, it would be nice to listen to it with that feeling in mind!
SOLMI: I don’t want to set any particular emotion because it’s a unique and fun song that people can interpret differently depending on their experiences. I want to open up the possibilities. You have to listen to it for yourself.
HKP: Is there a song on Picasso that you felt especially connected to while performing or recording?
SHANNIE: I definitely feel a special connection in creating the English version of ‘Picasso’. I participated in translating the lyrics into English, and throughout practice we discussed how to bring out a new, distinct charisma of our team in the language.
AHON: I felt a lot of sympathy in the song “Land of Dreams,” which often includes the support that I shout to myself when I have a hard time or when I’m tired, so I feel great when I listen, sing, or dance. It’s a song that gives me a lot of courage and strength!
HKP: While working on this EP, what kind of emotions or mindset were you focusing on the most?
DAZE: I tried to put my heart into it. I didn’t want you to feel empty after listening to the album. So I worked hard to put as much transparency into it as I could.
SHANNIE: Personally, it would be trying to express our songs in a unique way so that the audience is able to relate to the music.

SHANNIE
HKP: What’s one funny or memorable moment or challenge from filming the music video for the title track?
SOLMI: The choreography was always done, so it was okay, but the acting part, especially the scene where I filmed it alone, was difficult for me. There was a scene where I had to turn the mirror to see my face, but it kept reflecting my face randomly, so I remember turning the mirror while praying hard.
AHON: I don’t have a driver’s license yet. This was my first time sitting in the driver’s seat, and I was taken aback for a while because I didn’t even know how to hold the steering wheel. It was awkward. Even though it was a stopped car, I thought, “I don’t have a driver’s license, so can I?” I felt great riding in an excellent red car, so I had a lot of fun filming it. I want to be a safe and cool driver, too!
HKP: Each member brings a different color to the group—how did your individual strengths shape the overall sound of Picasso?
SHANNIE: Each one of us carries a unique vocal style, and our voices build up to the final image of Picasso.
DAZE: Each individual’s personality can be seen in the vocal style. As a result, it was able to express more interesting and richly. Also, Picasso’s emotional temperature was different for each member, and I’m glad the overall sound became more three-dimensional because we shared our differences with each other.
HKP: What’s one moment during this comeback preparation that really stayed with you?
DAZE: It was a lot of fun when we made the fan chant. We decided to make our own fan chant, compare what we prepared, and gather opinions to decide. The fan chant that we each made resembled them. SHANNIE’s was like a rap song, SOLMI had many new attempts, and the youngest AHON’s was just cute. I remember hearing that my version was like a model student. I was so happy to make this song, thinking about W!NGZ cheering for us. I was so excited because I felt that our comeback was near. I was so happy on this day.

AHON
HKP: What’s something small that instantly boosts your mood these days?
AHON: Minecraft with the members
SHANNIE: I make sure I give myself a head massage to loosen up my muscles overall before going to bed. It helps me sleep better and it boosts my mood overall the next day.
HKP: What are your go-to beauty or self-care routines when you want to feel your best?
DAZE: I have really dry skin, so I have to use a mask pack before I put on makeup. That way, it will be less dry. You have to drink a lot of water, too. If I don’t drink enough water, AHON scolds me. If I take care of my body with stretching or gua sha every day, my body becomes less swollen and body line become very straight. The most important tip! I just need the members next to me. AHON is my self-care solution for my health, SHANNIE is for my beauty, and SOLMI is for my Mind.
HKP: Finally, do you have a message for your fans, W!NGZ?
SHANNIE: During our last promotion, there wasn’t a fandom name yet, and I’m so happy to be able to shout out to our ‘W!ngz’! We are so grateful to have you with us, and I can’t wait to make more memories with all of you.
SOLMI: Thank you for waiting for so long. I will try to be your pride so that I can repay your heart. Thank you, as always, and I love you.
