A famous member and rapper of a popular co-ed group from the 2000s, referred to as “A,” has become embroiled in an adultery lawsuit.
On September 3, 2025, A’s wife, B, filed a damages suit worth ₩30.0 million KRW (about $21,600 USD) against a woman in her 20s, C, with whom A was allegedly involved, at the Suwon District Court.
According to the complaint, A and C have been in an extramarital relationship since April of last year and are currently living together at C’s home. A and B have several children together, and divorce proceedings are underway. Since April of last year, A had been living separately from B due to domestic violence. At social gatherings, A reportedly introduced C as his girlfriend, even sleeping with her while his children were present in the house. At one point, A was even caught by his children.
After realizing that the children told B about the affair, A allegedly assaulted them. He is said to have told them, “It’s because of you that your mother and I fight,” and threatened, “If you talk about this again, I’ll abandon you for real.” He beat them to the point of bruising and even left them unattended in a parking lot.
Due to this incident, a temporary restraining order preventing A from contacting his children was issued, though it has since been lifted.
A’s legal representative stated the reason that led to the divorce proceedings.
“C has been in an affair with A since April of last year, and in July, they were even caught naked and embracing by A’s children. Even after B demanded A stop seeing C, he continued the affair, which ultimately led to the breakdown of the marriage and divorce proceedings. “In this process, not only B but also the children have suffered severe psychological pain. C bears responsibility for compensating B’s mental suffering.”
