“Hello, this is RBW Entertainment. First, we sincerely thank all the fans for your continued support and love for PURPLE KISS.

We would like to inform you of our official position regarding PURPLE KISS’s group activities and future plans. We apologize for making this announcement so unexpectedly.

PURPLE KISS will conclude its group promotions in November. Because we deeply care about the group, we have had long and serious discussions with the members about their future. Ultimately, we have concluded that we should respect each other’s opinions and cherish our individual dreams.

Although the group activities will end, we plan to continue with our scheduled activities as a way to repay the fans’ love and support.

Starting with the release of their English album at the end of August, they will continue their Japanese promotions, tour across America, and hold concerts in Korea during the time we have left.

We’ve shared countless moments with the group and thank the six members who made PURPLE KISS shine. There were some tough days, but thanks to the members who gave us their passion and the fans who cheered them on, every moment could shine.

Once again, we thank the fans for your continued love and support for PURPLE KISS. Thank you.”

This was a total shock for fans as they had just recently released a second single album last month.

  • “They had good music, but I guess it never connected to becoming a fan? I guess it must be hard since there are so many groups from big companies.”
  • “So sad, they had so many great songs.”
  • “I still listen to ‘Zombie’. But I guess RBW is the problem… it’s hard to bring in more fans.”
