During the 2024 MAMA Awards, (G)I-DLE‘s Minnie snapped this luscious photo with heartthrob Byeon Woo Seok, sending the internet into a frenzy. She posed intimately with him, with Byeon Woo Seok even leaning down to match her height. They looked like the perfect duo!

During a recent episode of Apsahyo with Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon, Minnie spilled the beans on how the photo came about. Minnie had sung the OST for Lovely Runner, the drama that catapulted Byeon Woo Seok to fame.

Minnie had been the one to approach him first for the photo.

I can’t say I’m close to him, but I really wanted to meet him. Since I sang the OST, I totally enjoyed the drama too, of course. So I really wanted to see him, and I got the chance during MAMA. I was the first to ask for a photo. We passed by each other and said hi, and we met eyes. He was the first to tell me thank you [for singing the OST], and I said thank you too. I asked for a photo if he had time later on, and he agreed. That was how we took the photo.
