After weeks of hints and remaining tight-lipped on the project, BLACKPINK's Jennie has officially released details on her first solo full-length album, Ruby.
The solo artist, now separated from YG Entertainment for individual activities, made the announcement through her own agency, ODDATELIER Entertainment, on January 22.
Jennie's album Ruby will drop on March 7, featuring a total of 15 tracks, including the available single "Mantra," released in October 2024.
The lengthy project will include features and collaborations from music industry hard-hitters, including Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ, and GRAMMY-winner Kali Uchis.
Jennie's "Mantra" dominated international charts, topping Apple's iTunes Top Songs charts in 47 countries and regions, including the United States, the Philippines, and Brazil. The single also made itself known on the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks, earning Jennie the title as the first K-pop female soloist to claim the top spot on the U.S. iTunes Top Songs chart.
Alongside the music news, Jennie proved that she's been hard at work behind the scenes with her entrance as a solo performer at both weekends of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 13 and 20 in Indio, California.
