Girls' Generation's YoonA will unveil a new digital single later this month, premiering the song live at her upcoming Seoul fan meeting.

New single this month

SM Entertainment confirmed on December 10 that YoonA is preparing to release a new single in December as her first official music release in several years. The agency shared that the project is intended as a gesture of gratitude to fans for the support she has received throughout the year.

While the exact release date and title have not yet been disclosed, the single will be distributed as a digital release, according to allkpop. The song marks YoonA's return to music following her 2019 special album "A Walk to Remember."

Premiere at Seoul fan meeting

YoonA will perform the new single for the first time at her "Bon appétit, Your Majesty YOONA DRAMA FANMEETING IN SEOUL" event on December 20. The fan meeting will be held at the Main Auditorium of Seoul Women's University, with two shows scheduled at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. KST.

Fans who attend the event will be the first to hear the song live before its wider promotion, Weverse reported. Ticketing for the fan meeting is being handled through Melon Ticket, with seats priced at 99,000 won and age-restricted to audiences 12 and older.

Busy year for YoonA

The new music release follows a busy year in which YoonA focused primarily on acting projects. She recently gained attention for her lead role in the drama "Bon Appétit, Your Majesty," which is also the theme of the upcoming fan meeting.

YoonA, who debuted as a member of Girls' Generation and later joined subunit Oh!GG, has continued to balance acting, music, and brand activities. The December single is expected to highlight her versatility as a solo performer while reconnecting with longtime fans of the group, as per Kpopping.
