K-Pop Idol Confesses Undergoing Surgery For Braodcast

On the September 3 episode of MBC’s Radio Star, Super Junior’s Shindong shared his physical struggles and surgical experience.

Shingdong garnered much attention after revealing that he underwent surgery for broadcast.

He recalled the time he appeared on MBC’s Popopo when the producer suddenly approached him, letting him know that his nipples were too visible.

Shindong, who had previously struggled with this, spoke candidly about his characteristics.

I’ve always had protruding nipples. After gaining weight, they became too visible with just one layer of clothing.

He found a solution to this after completing his military service.

I was deeply troubled by this until I returned from the military. One day, I saw something about nipple reduction surgery, so I had it done.

However, even after surgery, he was left with another concern.

The doctor said that the body tends to return to its original state after surgery, so it can grow back later. He said that if the area around the nipple is gone, more will grow in that area.

In response, Seo Jang Hoon suggested, “Wouldn’t it be better just to use a nipple patch rather than surgery?”

To this, Shindong replied, “No, I’ve tried everything. The tape itself doesn’t work. This is how much it’s been reduced because I did surgery.”
