A K-Pop stylist recently went viral after revealing a vital secret about every idol’s outfit. Be it casual or on stage, each idol usually has their outfits tailored to their body.
A stylist that goes by the name of Sophy recently did a Q&A about items to buy. A fan pulled up jeans worn by aespa‘s NingNing, asking if it was worth the heavy price tag. After all, NingNing looked gorgeous in them.
Sophy honestly acknowledged that normal people should not buy clothes just based on what idols wear. Before idols put the clothes on, their stylists pin them or make sure that the fit is the best it can be. This includes sewing in hip pads or other items to boost the fit.
Please never never buy clothes idols wear without trying them on. Idols don’t wear them off the rack. Their stylists tailor them prettily, and if they need it, they sew pads inside too. Please don’t try on the items and think you’re too fat or have no hips for the outfit. The fit that you see on idols is all created by their stylists, and that’s why they are able to look that good. Even idols don’t look that good with clothes off the rack. Of course, there’s some idols that do just look like that though.
It’s no secret that idols get boosts from body-correcting items such as padded bras or hip pads. However, with even casual outfits offstage being carefully chosen and tailored by stylists, it’s almost impossible to aspire to be like them!
