KATSEYE’s Manon And Lara Hit Back At Their Viral Feud Rumors

On August 21, Netflix premiered the anticipated docuseries Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE. It follows the formation of the K-Pop-trained HYBE and Geffen Records international girl group, KATSEYE, formed through survival show The Debut: Dream Academy.

However, the docuseries was met with mixed reactions after the introduction of Manon. Many fans jumped to her defense, claiming she was mistreated. One of the fellow members who netizens claimed mistreated her was Lara.

KATSEYE fans have been concerned that the docuseries is setting the group up for sabotage, as it doesn’t paint everyone positively. Some members, such as Lara, have received hate since its premiere, and fans are worried it’s creating solo stans more than genuine fans.

Now, KATSEYE’s Lara and Manon have addressed their viral feud rumors in a new TikTok post to the group’s account. They joined the latest trend on the app, which features the now-viral meme of dolphins titled “Enjoy Sunshine” painted by Christian Riese Lassen. The post includes humorous but sometimes dark confessions written in text overlaying the bright image, with Zara Larson singing “Symphony” as the audio.

Manon and Lara added a cute bestie photo of themselves to the meme along with the text, “we’re literally fine lol.”

Their video went viral, with 2.3M views at the time of writing. KATSEYE fans commended the group for not only addressing the feud rumors but also doing so humorously.

Even in the docuseries, Lara and Manon have appeared close since the start. They’ve been supporting each other for so long that they probably were shocked by the allegations.
