Popular K-Pop Idol Faces Brutal Transphobia After New Photos

Netizens are disgusted after XLOV‘s Rui faced vicious transphobic comments after photos from a recent fan event were shared online.

Since debuting, XLOV has gained praise for their genderless identity, and have broken barriers in so many ways, including allowing fans to use any pronouns with the members.

Recently, amid their ongoing promotions, fan photos of Rui are going viral with the idol serving visuals and sending the internet into shock. Yet, while many of the comments were positive and praised Rui, the idol was hit with many hateful and vicious comments.

When fans saw the comments, they were shocked and disgusted at the transphobic comments about Rui. Some thought it was impossible to call Rui ugly, but others hated how, in an industry where XLOV was trying to break boundaries and promote inclusivity, they were being hit with such awful comments.
