After hearing BLACKPINK Rosé “APT. 1.0” on “The Howard Stern Show” listeners were instantly asking for the full version. On Sept. 22, Rosé appeared on “The Howard Stern Show,” played the original demo of “APT.” from her phone, and discussed how Bruno Mars helped turn it into the hit we know today.
She even recalled telling everyone to “delete” that early cut and opened up about the emotions she felt that day.

Rosé held her phone to the mic and played “APT 1.0,” which features lyrics that differ from the released version. The opening lines are the same — she sings in Korean, “ChaeYoung’s favorite random game, random game,” says “game start!” and chants “APT” — but the first verse is entirely different:
“I’ll be up in Room 17, cherry pick me from your favorite dream.
We’ve been taking seven days a week, but you can’t hold my body through the screen.
So you should leave your friends and get to mine.
The night is so young, I got what you need.
You can go and call yourself a car, and don’t tell anyone, you’re gonna meet me at the APT.”

Fans on social media say “APT 1.0” sounds just as strong as the released hit — with or without Bruno Mars — and they want it out!
Reddit users wrote:
“Yup, I see why Bruno went with APT after hearing this. Sounds great. But this sounds more mature than the final version, which is interesting. Would love to hear the full version of this one. C’mon Rosie, don’t be shy.”
“can we pls get this version on her deluxe album”
