1 month ago 88

On August 30, SF9 successfully held the “2025 SF9 LIVE FANTASY #5 LOVE DAWN IN HONG KONG” concert at AXA Dreamland. Since Hong Kong is the only Asian city included in this tour other than Seoul, the concert attracted not only Hong Kong FANTASY, but also FANTASY from various Asian countries such as China and Japan. This concert is also SF9’s first-ever solo concert in Hong Kong, and the first time in 9 years for the group to perform in the city after they performed at the MAMA 2016 red carpet, making this concert particularly meaningful.

The 2-hour concert was packed with fabulous performances of some of SF9’s best hits and the members’ solo stages, together showcasing the versatility and diverse colors of SF9 as a mature K-Pop boy group. Throughout the concert, SF9 also seized every opportunity to chat and interact with FANTASY, creating unforgettable memories with FANTASY. Fan Club Photo Booth Support Event

Before the concert began, Hong Kong’s SF9 fan club set up a photo booth outside the concert venue, allowing FANTASY to take photos to capture the beautiful memories from the concert. The booth not only included the Chinese names of the members as well as the “LOVE DAWN” tour, but it was also decorated with cardboards of Hong Kong-style neon light billboards with shop names that creatively incorporated the members’ Chinese names.

Greeting Hong Kong FANTASY With A Powerful Opening

The concert started with SF9 appearing in red and black suits that elicited mature and mysterious vibes. The members first performed their latest title track ‘LOVE RACE’, ‘RPM’, and ‘Now or Never’. Yoo TaeYang and HwiYoung even performed a duo dance break before ‘Now or Never’ that incorporated the choreography of ‘Believer’. After the powerful opening, the members greeted FANTASY together in Cantonese and Mandarin. Leader YoungBin started by saying that this is SF9’s first solo performance in Hong Kong, and that they should have come earlier to meet Hong Kong FANTASY. TaeYang then continued by stating that they will make the concert venue the hottest place in Hong Kong. JaeYoon finally said that he would try to interact with FANTASY in Cantonese, and invited FANTASY to have fun together.

SF9 then continued to hype up the crowd by performing ‘Tear Drop’ and ‘Trauma’, as well as a few songs prepared specifically for the “LOVE DAWN” tour, including ‘Cruel Love’, which TaeYang took part in making the choreography, ‘WARURU’, and ‘BIBORA’.

Solo Stages Showcasing Individual Charms

After the VCR break, 4 of the members put on their solo stages that demonstrated their individual music colors. YoungBin showed his long-buried vocal skills by singing ‘Someday’, and InSeong proved himself to be the group’s main vocalist by performing ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ with his powerful and soulful vocals. HwiYoung then demonstrated his dynamic and skillful rap by performing his solo song ‘Drive5’. Finally, JaeYoon surprised FANTASY by singing one of Taiwanese singer Eric Chou’s hit songs, ‘What’s Wrong’. He certainly slayed the performance by singing with accurate pronunciation and his signature soothing voice!

Refreshing Concept And Earlier Releases

Next, the members returned to the stage with white and blue outfits that radiated refreshing vibes and chatted with FANTASY. InSeong shared in English that he toured around Hong Kong with the members the day before, and had a funny English conversation with Chani and JaeYoon about what they did before meeting FANTASY. TaeYang then asked FANTASY which members suited the refreshing concept the most, and asked the members to compete for the title by taking turns to showcase “refreshing style aegyo”. InSeong finally won as he kept blowing kisses and even did a big bow, driving all FANTASY into a frenzy.

Following the chat, SF9 performed a few refreshing b-side tracks from their earlier albums, including ‘Just On My Way’, ‘Round and Round’, and ‘Love No.5’, as well as a few old title songs such as ‘Enough’, ‘Good Guy’, and a rearranged version of ‘O Sole Mio’, taking FANTASY back to the earlier days of SF9 to reflect on the evolution of the group throughout the years.

SF9 then took pictures with FANTASY to record the joy of this special evening.

SF9 finally closed the night with their last song ‘My Fantasia’ while going down the stage to interact closely with FANTASY. The members kept offering fan services, including waving and doing high-five with FANTASY as they moved through the audiences, hyping up the crowd while bringing the concert to a spectacular ending.
