Viral Photos Of BTS V And SEVENTEEN Mingyu’s Physiques Trigger Scathing Comments

BTS’s V and SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu are two of the most popular male idols in the K-Pop industry, both known for their striking visuals and strong stage presence. Recently, however, the two have found themselves at the center of an unexpected debate — this time over their physiques.

Since enlisting in the military, BTS’s V has noticeably bulked up. Photos of the singer showcasing his muscular frame, especially his arms, have gone viral on social media. One particular live broadcast where V appeared in a sleeveless top that highlighted his beefy arms went instantly viral on X (formerly Twitter).

Hours later, SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu — already known for his athletic build — uploaded gym photos showing his toned body and defined muscles. Although Mingyu has consistently maintained a fit image, the timing of the photos led to some pointed comparisons online.

These comparisons then led to a heated fanwars which saw both sets of fans leave scathing comments.

BTS fans accused Mingyu of “trying to be” like V, pointing to the fact that his gym updates came shortly after V’s live broadcast made headlines.

SEVENTEEN fans, on the other hand, pushed back strongly. Many claimed that Mingyu had always been known for his muscular build and accused V of “copying Mingyu’s image” now that he was receiving attention for his physique.
