Since October 2023, at least 41,821 Palestinians, including nearly 16,500 children, have been killed, according to Al Jazeera. More than 95,125 people have been injured, and over 10,000 are missing in Israel’s war on Gaza, with Palestinians starved, displaced, and having lost their homes, families, and friends. More and more people worldwide are becoming increasingly informed of the injustices, speaking out in solidarity with Palestine. Some do so by donning the Palestinian flag or keffiyeh.

Keffiyeh (or kufiyyeh, also known in Arabic as a hattah) is a traditional Arab headdress, and the Palestinian keffiyeh is usually patterned black and white. The Palestinian keffiyeh has garnered popularity with pro-Palestine activists and is often worn in solidarity.

Historically, it was worn by nomadic communities — or Bedouins — in historic Palestine.

Recently, a K-Pop idol was spotted with a fan-given keffiyeh.

THE BOYZ are currently on their 2024 THE BOYZ WORLD TOUR : ZENERATION in Europe. Recently, they performed in Paris, France.

Ami (@amimoonrising on X) attended the concert and brought their keffiyeh. Hyunjae took ami’s keffiyeh, which has circulated on social media.

This would not be the first time a member of THE BOYZ acted in solidarity with Palestine. Previously, Juyeon donated to the UN World Food Programme (WFP), which helps Palestine. Kevin has also been vocal.
