BTS' Jin Provides Generous Donation To Enhance Treatments For Patients With Rare Diseases

Jin has made a heartfelt donation to enhance the treatments for patients suffering from rare diseases.

Korean news outlet Maeil Kyungjae reported that the "Astronaut" singer has donated ₩100 million (equivalent to $69,600) to the Korea University Medical Center.

The donation will reportedly be used for the "Global Goodwill Life Love Project," the medical center's international medical support initiative.

The "Global Goodwill Life Love Project" is a program that concentrates on saving the lives of patients in developing countries who are having difficulties in recovery due to hardships in the economy and lack of medical services.

In 2024, the Korea University Medical Center had more than ten patients with rare diseases. This included patients from Madagascar and Korea. To add more thoughts regarding his donation, Jin also shared a brief statement about his philanthropic act.

"I hope this small gesture can bring hope to those struggling to access proper medical care," Jin said.

"I aim to continue making a difference by saving more lives alongside my fans around the globe."

The medical center also praised Jin's efforts.

"Jin's thoughtful donation is a significant aid to our medical assistance activities. His sincere generosity is a large contribution that will help establish a warmer and healthier society."
