Recently, FIFTY FIFTY announced the release of their second mini album.

As soon as the tweet was shared, it received instant backlash from netizens. Fans of the former FIFTY FIFTY members shared that it was disrespectful to call it a 2nd mini album when it was a completely new lineup, adding that the timing and use of the lawsuit when it came to the only remaining OG member, Keena, was wrong.

attrakt, you can’t really call this fifty fifty’s second mini album when you changed the fucking fandom name, got four new members, and are still defaming 3jeongs when they sang in the fifty. pic.twitter.com/A1qyPSqgt6

attrash using we don’t talk anymore as 2.0’s first cover song is actually crazy work AND along with keena’s intro it just shows how they’re literally using the abuse they put 3jeong through as a selling point WHY is anyone still supporting that corrupt company

— kya (@3jeongs) August 19, 2024

by planning the prerelease around the court date of the damages suit, attrakt is using the hearing as a promotion opportunity as well as using articles about the single to cover up any valid arguments made by 3j's side in court. tactical so the mediaplay can be flipped either way https://t.co/INkBpb5HUL

Many fans immediately pointed out that the title “Starry Night” was the same as MAMAMOO‘s hit song.

Of course, there are many songs with the same title, but BABYMONSTER fans shared similarities in the design and style of the introduction to the concept used for the YG Entertainment group’s track “Stuck In The Middle.”

how unoriginal can you be https://t.co/S2pVPD3LeF pic.twitter.com/B6KU3ZjDGQ

Fans showcased the different plagiarism claims, adding to their disgust towards the company.

Mamamoo's title, Babymonster's graphics, Newjeans style, RUNext's fanbase, 3Jeong's sucess

This company has just stealing and cheating embedded into it's soul. https://t.co/3b4W2mP2lS pic.twitter.com/t2u17yqTAb

There has been a long-standing boycott of the group after the lawsuit, and some netizens believed that the plagiarism claims could help emphasize the desire not to promote the group after everything that has happened.

this is perfect actually if we can get the big 4 stans to cry plagiarism they’re done https://t.co/60ZYsb0fYC
