SHINee's Minho is set to release his first single album titled Tempo on December 15, 2025, at 6 p.m. KST, officially marking his return to solo activities after about a year since his full-length album Call Back debuted in November 2024.
This single album contains two tracks, the title track "Tempo" and a B-side named "You're Right," both of which are said to carry Minho's unique emotional depth and musical expression.
The promotion for Tempo began with teaser content starting December 2, featuring various visuals, including teaser photos, track posters, and album details designed to build anticipation among fans, according to Chosun Biz. The physical album is available for pre-order at both online and offline retailers as of December 1.
Package details reveal an inclusion of a CD-R, a 24-page photobook, postcards, a photocard, and various stickers as part of the album package, providing collectors with rich content beyond just the music.
Leading up to the release, Minho will engage directly with fans through meet-and-greet events titled "Our Movie," scheduled on December 13 and 14 in Seoul. These are opportunities for fans to connect closely with the artist, generating excitement about his solo comeback, Korea JoongAng Daily reported. In addition, Minho will serve as one of the MCs for MBC's year-end music show on December 31, marking his fourth time hosting this significant event.
Minho's solo career started with the single "Heartbreak" in 2021, followed by an EP, Chase, in 2022, and the single "Stay for a Night" in early 2024, before releasing his first full album, Call Back.
The album reflected on his growth since debuting as a member of SHINee in 2008 and showed his continued evolution as a solo artist. Tempo is his first single album and is expected to further highlight his artistic maturity and style, blending emotional storytelling with contemporary soundscapes, as per the Korea Herald.
