SHINee‘s Taemin recently made his solo comeback with his fifth mini album, ETERNAL, and the title track, “Sexy In The Air.”

Today, he promoted his new song, “Horizon,” on KBS Music Bank, delivering a phenomenal performance.

Netizens were in awe when they realized his backup dancers weren’t just typical backup dancers. Some notable names danced alongside Taemin, including famous French Senegalese choreographer and dancer Kany Diabaté Ahn. She has previously worked with legendary music artists Michael Jackson and Beyoncé and has recently become well-known among K-Pop fans. She is also the choreographer behind SHINee‘s “HARD,” Key‘s “Gasoline,” and VIVIZ‘s “Maniac.”

Beyoncé’s dance captain, Ashley Everett, who has also worked with Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, Tina Turner, Ciara, Sean Paul, and Anitta, was there as well, which was more surprising. It marked her first Korean show.

Popular SM Entertainment dancers and choreographers Kasper and Shuri were also there, among others. Fans marveled at Taemin’s backup dancers, who were all big names from around the world.

Taemin performing at Music Bank with spectacular world-renowned choreographers and dancers like Kany, Beyoncé's longtime dance captain Ashley Everett, other dancers who have danced with Beyoncé, Madonna, and more 😭 he's truly an artist 🙂‍↕️ Kasper and Shuri are also here 🥹 pic.twitter.com/zPsXs9NbMf

You know Taemin's in the game because of the arts and not the charts or any other inflated number stats because he srsly brought out all-star dancers from Team Madonna & Beyoncé just to put on a real SHOW at MuBank solely for the sake of art, passion, and $37 pic.twitter.com/ySGWXRgjBS

Yet, his previous performance, in which he promoted “Sexy In The Air” on M Countdown, was no different.

JustJerk Academy dancer and choreographer Bada Lee, the Kwon Twins, Kasper, Dora, Rian, Rosalyn, and Shuri, were recognized during the performance. Dance royalty consistently showing out for Taemin is a testament to his reputation in the music industry.

Either Taemin has a huge budget, or the most elite and famous dancers are signing up to dance for Taemin because no way you can arrange a comeback with Bada, the Kwon twins, Kasper, Dora, Rian, Rosalyn, Shuri etc as dancers in your rotation. It’s like all the dance royalty showed… https://t.co/HlFIIHdoZg

i can’t get over the fact that this was for an mcountdown stage. not a concert, not an award show. all these choreographers down to dance with him for a music stage shows u his influence and impact https://t.co/Ve0fHghkPm

Said this before and saying it again..
But it’s crazy how whenever Taemin comes back the best Dance Squad assemble like avengers.

Like.. his squad is composed of famous Kpop Choreographers, dancers, dance studio masters who many times don’t do “artist dance team” anymore.. https://t.co/9SlFOc0v3Y
