Fans want SUPER JUNIOR SiWon out of the group!
SUPER JUNIOR SiWon is facing backlash from fans after expressing sympathy over the death of Charlie Kirk, a right-wing figure.
On TikTok, calls to boycott the SUPER JUNIOR are trending. Some posts argue that SiWon didn’t just sympathize with Kirk’s death but also shares his beliefs—citing racist, sexist, homophobic, and transphobic ideology.

Kirk was the founder of Turning Point USA, a right-wing organization that played a significant role in former President Donald Trump’s return to power. He was widely regarded as a strong advocate for Christian values and conservatism.
SUPER JUNIOR SiWon explained his side about the post on the fan platform Bubble (translated to English):
I’d like to explain, since there has been much talk about my post related to mourning Charlie Kirk.
He was a Christian, the head of a household, and a husband. Regardless of the circumstances, the fact that he lost his life in a shooting while giving a lecture in front of countless college students is a heartbreaking tragedy beyond any political stance. That is why I mourned him.
After posting, I was grateful for the media’s attention, but since it seemed that my intentions were being interpreted differently by the press and others, I believed my sincere heart had already been conveyed and thus decided to take the post down.
However, since there is still much interest even now, I wanted to offer this explanation.
Despite his explanation, fans continue to call for him to be removed from the group.
SUPER JUNIOR are currently on a world tour celebrating 20 years in the industry. SiWon is also known for his acting in popular K-Dramas like “She Was Pretty” and “Revolutionary Love.”
