What. A. Night. The Watsons KFINITY Music Festival 2025 completely lit up Kuala Lumpur past saturday! Thousands of fans packed the IOI Mall Damansara Exhibition & Convention Centre for a night that felt more like a giant K-pop party than just a concert.
The lineup was a dream — Taeyang, Minzy, JU-NE, Yuju, SOLE, and THAMA, all on the same stage! Presented by Watsons Malaysia and organised by Dream Factory Entertainment, the show started around 5PM and didn’t slow down for a single second. The lights, the music, the fans — everything came together perfectly.

The night opened with THAMA, whose smooth R&B voice instantly warmed up the crowd. He sang Real Thing, HEY, Do It For Love, Be Mine, and I Feel Love — every song filled with soul. When he greeted everyone in Malay, the whole hall screamed. One fan next to me said, “He’s so chill but so cool!” and honestly, that summed it up.

Then came SOLE, glowing with confidence and charm. Her voice was pure magic — soft, strong, and full of emotion. She performed 1 Minute, GONE, shy girl, LOVIN’ U, and ore ore. During Stay With Me, she surprised everyone by walking off the stage to meet fans at the barricade. Phones went up, people cried happy tears — it was one of the most touching moments of the night. She ended with RIDE, joined by THAMA for a fun mini duet that left everyone smiling.

When JU-NE from iKON appeared, the energy level shot through the roof. Fans were jumping, waving light sticks, and chanting his name long before the first note. He performed Feel Lost, So Cold, Want You Back, and then threw in iKON’s massive hits Love Scenario and Rhythm Ta. The singalong was deafening — it felt like every single person in the hall knew the lyrics by heart. JU-NE looked genuinely touched and shouted, “I love you, Malaysia!” before leaving the stage to wild cheers.

And then came Taeyang. The moment the lights dimmed and his silhouette appeared, the crowd went silent for half a second — then erupted into the loudest screams of the night. Dressed in a sleek outfit and backed by a live band, the BIGBANG star delivered an incredible set: 1AM, VIBE, BODY, Superstar, I Need A Girl, Empty Road, Ringa Linga, Eyes, Nose, Lips, and Seed. The crowd sang along word for word during Eyes, Nose, Lips, their voices blending perfectly with his. It was one of those goosebumps moments you just can’t forget. Before he left the stage, Taeyang promised to return soon — and everyone screamed even louder.

Next up, Yuju brought calm and grace to the stage with her angelic vocals. She sang Spring Is Gone by Chance, REPLY, ORION, DALALA, and See You Soon. Her performance was simple but so heartfelt — you could feel every lyric. A group of fans near the front even held up a banner that said “We waited for you, Yuju!” and she smiled when she saw it.

To close the night, Minzy came out and set the stage on fire — literally everyone was jumping from the moment she started Ninano. She kept the energy going with Te Amo and Superwoman, showing off her fierce dance moves. Then came the songs everyone was waiting for — 2NE1’s legendary hits I Am The Best and Go Away. The entire hall turned into one giant dance floor. Fans were screaming, waving their hands, and shouting every lyric. Minzy ended the show with a big “Thank you, Malaysia!” and confetti rained down as the lights flashed one last time.
From start to finish, the vibe was amazing. Fans came with glowing banners, matching outfits, and endless smiles. Even between performances, people were singing along to background tracks, taking selfies, and trading light sticks. It didn’t feel like just a concert — it felt like a community.
By the end of the night, everyone was sweaty, tired, but super happy. The Watsons KFINITY Music Festival 2025 wasn’t just a show — it was a night full of laughter, tears, and unforgettable memories.
If this is what the first KFINITY Festival looks like, then we can’t wait for next year. Because honestly, nights like this remind us why we love K-pop so much — the music, the fans, the connection. It’s everything. 💜
