Photos of BTS‘s Jungkook are starting a conversation online.

He recently trended after a new gym photo of him and fitness trainer Ma Sun Ho surfaced on social media, revealing his brand new tattoo.

Following the reveal, a photo of Jungkook’s new tattoo with his shirt off quickly surfaced. However, it soon became known that it was AI-generated.

The usage of the image started a conversation about how AI edits of him can be disrespectful without his consent.
can big accounts not go around posting ai edits of jungkook?? this is clearly not a real picture , using ai on him is so weird and disrespectful https://t.co/n3s9Jvtecv

In the past, Jungkook has gained attention for speaking outwardly about feeling like AI-generated content like music covers may be dangerous for artists’ careers in the future, possibly alluding to his feelings about AI-generated photos.

Many have also shared that there are plenty of photos of Jungkook that already exist, so there’s no need to generate more.

The morals of AI-generated content continue to be a controversial topic in media.
