Former S.E.S. member Shoo recently went viral online for her shocking statement about separation and divorce from her husband, former basketball player Lim Hyo Seong.
In an interview with SPOTV News, she stated, “I’m completely fine with my husband having a girlfriend. I’m also talking comfortably about it with him.”
Shoo recently opened her own YouTube channel and shared glimpses of her life with her husband. In a video, she asked him, “Do you have any good girlfriends?” which drew criticism from viewers. The YouTube production team later deleted and re-edited the video.
She responded, “I’m completely okay with my husband having a girlfriend. It’s so important to have excitement. I’m open-minded and always honest.”
She continued, “My husband asks me why I am asking that, but I think, what’s wrong with that?”
Shoo and her husband live separately during the week and spend weekends with the children.
We’ve been living like this since our son was in the first year of middle school, so it’s been about three or four years. We’ve been on good terms since living apart. We made a pact not to fight in front of the kids.

She added, “It would be selfish to divorce when thinking about the children. I think it’s right to find a way to maintain the relationship,” expressing that she had no plans for divorce.
